I was born in Treviglio (BG), Italy, in June 1977. I received the Dr. Eng. degree in Environmental Engineering from Politecnico of Milano in june 2002, with a thesis on Water management and control, and the Ph.D. in Information Engineering from University of Brescia in april 2007, with a thesis about "Modeling assessment of effective air pollution control policies".

Since April 2007, I'm researcher at University of Brescia, working in the Environmental System Modelling and Control group.

My research interests are in the fields of modelling and simulation of non linear systems, identification of surrogate models and optimisation, performing applications on air quality.
